- 1/2 cup (125 mL) chocolate hazelnut spread, divided
- 8 slices Dempster’s® White Bread
- 2 small bananas, sliced and divided
- 4 strawberries, sliced (approx.)
- Hard-cooked egg
- Fruit Bowl:
- 2 kiwis, peeled, halved and sliced
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1 mango peeled, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
Spread 1/4 cup (60 mL) chocolate hazelnut spread evenly over 4 slices of bread. Top with half of the bananas, and strawberries. Cap with remaining bread. Using 4-inch (10 cm) round cookie cutter, cut out rounds from sandwiches.
Transfer remaining chocolate hazelnut spread to small resealable bag; snip off one corner. Pipe hazelnut spread over rounds to make emoji faces; decorate with remaining banana slices, additional strawberry slices and blueberries.
Fruit Bowl: Arrange rows of kiwi, banana, mango and strawberry slices in bento boxes. Serve with emoji sandwiches and hard-cooked egg.
