- 6 Slices DEMPSTER’S® Garden Vegetable Bread
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Butter, softened
- 2 Slices Marble cheese
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Red pepper jelly
- 2 Slices Swiss cheese
- 2 Tomato, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Mayonnaise
SPREAD butter over one side of each slice of bread. Place 1 slice of Cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of 2 slices of bread. Top with red pepper jelly and 2 more slices of bread, buttered side up. PLACE each sandwich in a skillet or a griddle over medium heat and grill one side only until golden, about 2 minutes. Turn over and top each sandwich with a slice of Swiss cheese and tomato slices. SPREAD mayonnaise over unbuttered sides of remaining bread and top sandwiches with buttered side up. Turn entire sandwiches over and grill until golden and both cheeses are melted.
