INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices Dempster’s® 100% Whole Grains Multigrain Bread, toasted
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) toasted sliced natural almonds
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) honey

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mash avocado with salt; spread evenly over toast.
  2. Top with sliced banana. Sprinkle with almonds and drizzle with honey.

Tips:
Add chocolate chips for a decadent touch.
Replace banana with sliced ripe mango, and replace almonds with toasted coconut if desired.
